About the Artist and Author

Born and raised in Orange, CA, Gina-Maria Garcia studied international journalism at Northeastern University and later pursued a career in luxury marketing. Although Gina-Maria would never consider herself a poet nor a painter, she does identify herself as a creator and is a proud American entrepreneur. 

To Gina-Maria, life is about expression, and it is through the act of creating she finds a deep connection with the universe. As an entrepreneur, Garcia is driven to create purpose-driven businesses and products that help her carry out her life's mission -  to bring out the purpose in others and empower women around the globe. 

It is her vision to bring the world closer together through big ideas and dreams, and she is determined to leave this planet having taken action on all of the ones she has for this world.

As the founder of BUYa Beauty and inventor of her own hair products, Gina-Maria is committed to being a leader in the ethical beauty community and making an impact in the way consumers and businesses contribute to the hair industry.
